DESCRIPTION:      

WEB KLENE is an aqueous plate-cleaning solution used to effectively remove oxidation and scumming on the plate while the press is running.

ADVANTAGES:      

Web Klene effectively removes oxidation and scumming without:

stopping or slowing the press

removing ink from the image 

causing emulsification or stripping

affecting ink quality

affecting ink drying

breaking the web

Web Klene desensitisers scratches, and may also be added directly to the fountain as a preventative measure.

DIRECTIONS:         

Without stopping or slowing the press, spray WEB KLENE directly onto the plate.  Oxidation and scumming will be removed with every revolution of the press.

A 1/2 ounce of WEB KLENE may also be added to the fountain to prevent oxidation and scumming.

After optimum dosage has been determined from an initial press trial, measure the conductivity to serve as a standard for future mixing.
