Rieger manufactures
only premium products
All
Rieger Inks are produced, not from pre dispersed materials, but from
base ingredients utilising the ‘dry grind technique’.
This permits us to control all ingredients in our formulations.
Therefore, yield analysis should be performed ‘on press’ over
an extended period of time to determine runability.
We
have ongoing R & D and are committed to being leaders in the rapidly
changing world ink market.
To
maintain our high standards and rigid requirements, Rieger Printing Ink
and AIM Group will test all incoming inks to your plant.
This way we can rectify any problems before they reach the press.
Six
comprehensive ink tests for quality assurance monitoring:
-
Dispersion: Checked
with grind gauge.
-
Tack: Checked
with inkometer.
-
Colour: Checked
with draw down pad proven on ‘Little
Joe’ Proof press.
-
Strength: Done
on draw down pad and by bleaching
-
Stability:
10 minute stability curve on inkometer
-
Consistency: Done
by comparing with previous samples kept on file
inks and batches produced for future references.
Precise
records of all the quality assurance functions will be maintained and
ink specifications established.
Our
technicians are trained to be adept in the art of colour matching,
proofing and quality control.
This
all combines to give you a competent, reliable service which would limit
press downtime and other related problems.
